All I wanted was a drink on my 21st birthday. I went back, got my bottle, and went up to check out. I proudly handed him my ID only to be told that I have to wait until tomorrow, the day after my birthday. Now, I told him I had gone to a restaurant about an hour earlier and had no issues. He said something along the line of “I took the classes, so I know”. I look it up and EVERYWHERE says that at 12:00 am when it hits the day of your Bday, you are legally allowed to buy alcohol. Welp, not at this place. If you’ve just turned 21…don’t go here, they turned me down. Update: It turns out that some private stores and bars do this to protect themselves. I get that, but, at the same time, they lost money. Another store gained some.
