The children's storytimes here are so nice. We've been going for a while and my daughter loves it. The storytime they have is an amazing place for parents to teach their children how to behave in a class environment before they attend school. Or a great place for parents to teach homeschool children how to behave in a group environment where they should sit quietly for stories while also having the opportunity to get up and participate in songs and activities. My daughter and I have been attending for about a year and, with my guidance, she has learned so much about proper behavior in this type of setting. If you decide to attend these children's programs I hope you use them to benefit your child in every way they can.

Libraries should be free to the public. It makes zero sense that Davenport, FL has no local libraries. I have to drive 30 minutes for a library that's free to me. They charge you a monthly fee.

I just moved from NY, and I am a library goers. This library is so beautiful, quite place to study or just simply reading a book you like. The employees are SUPER helpful. Esther helps me to get things I need to do. Love this place

Great atmosphere. Lots of small shops. Came for the Farmers Market and was delighted with all the local makers and crafters. The market runs from 10am-2pm on Friday's. Plenty of parking. Easy to get to located on HWY 27 in Clermont. Close to plenty of restaurants, gas stations and shopping centers

You sign in to your library account, pick your books put them in the cart. When the library gets them ready they will call you, drive there park at the curb call ànd tell them you are there and they will bring the books out

No, you do not have to live there, however, if you are a lake county resident then you can get a library card there. If you are in another county then you need to pay the $40.

Yes, definitely. It's $40 for a year. We do that, it's well worth it. It may be possible to get a shorter membership, but I can't remember. It's a great library, with very friendly and helpful staff

Yes, but you have to pay to become a member. It's $40 for a year, and I think they do 6 months for $20. It's well worth it if you are there for a time,.as they have a large selection of books and movies, so you don't need to take these with you on vacation
