This place was a fantastic visit! Beautiful and peaceful farmland dotted with old historic buildings, it's truly a gem that gives an insight into Florida's past. My friends and I were guided around by a wonderful volunteer named Tom, and I learned more from Tom than I did in any AP, honor, or IB class. Thank you so much to the folks who keep the park running, would thoroughly recommend a visit (and to pick up $1 soda, native plants, and delicious $7 blueberry syrup)!

Excellent place to spend a Saturday morning! Very pleasant atmosphere and historical things to see. Tom the interpreter was out guide through the homestead. I learned more from Tom then I did in high school history class. 10/10 would go again

Excellent historic farm with many buildings that are from the era. Some farm animals were fun to check out including horses, turkey, and cattle. They have some great fruit trees including Bananas, Fig, and Valencia oranges. My young kids had a blast pumping water for the animals on the hand pump. They have very knowledgeable interpretive staff, Tom was great! Always a nice place to spend a couple of hours.

They are open 9-4, Wed - Sunday
You should call them
There is a restroom at the entrance to the farm but no bathroom once you are near the origional farmstead buildings.
Yes there is admission...used to be $5 a car, that may have changed. There is a small museum and store building in front area, then you walk back to the old homestead..... which includes house, barn/store, several out buildings plus kitchen. Lots to see on your own time. Great experience to see and feel what old pioneer Florida was. Children love it!
Unfortunately, no.
