Trails are flooded to much for me today so just hiked 10 mile loop on forest roads. Pretty mix of flatwoods and hammock. Many, many piggies.

Spent two wonderful nights here early March 2022. The road had some soft spots but any vehicle can make the drive to the campsite. The porta potty was okay clean. The honey wagon is coming to pump it out once per week on Tuesdays. Campsite 4 is the most isolated. We were in Campsite 1 (some privacy). It is wide open between Sites 2 and 3.

Questions & Answers

How much is it for a tent

Roy Mclaughlin | Sep 12, 2019
Chad Deems | Sep 12, 2019

Somewhere around 9.50 a night. There is another 9 dollar service charge too. Still cheaper than a hotel room. It's way off the beaten path and nice and quiet. Definitely will be coming back.

Edward Murray | Sep 12, 2018

The Montanza State Forest is the turpentine camp, there are many pine trees there and Florida uses these pine trees to get turpentine and make paper such as Georgia Pacific, I hope this was helpful,,,,, yiC 😇
