I'm a bourbon drinker. Occasionally cognac, whatever the reason it's difficult to find bourbon or a selection of bourbons in the Black community. I was in need of bourbon and passed the chain liquor stores, as I was not in my area for such purposes. The selection of bourbons was surprising, a couple of top shelves, a wide variety of mid-range and bottom shelf selection. As I was in a hurry order my Maker's Mark, in the hood, everything surrounded by plexiglass, I did not have time to take full stock, what they had to offer. Due to the bourbon stock, it was a pleasant surprise. I will be returning to see what other gems are hidden. I did not see ice, does not mean did not have. They had a decent supply of chasers. The staff, assuming mom and pop, were helpful, friendly and professional. Why not a 5? The plexiglass, I understand the need for security, speaks more to the location than the store.
