I’ve posted a review before but I feel the need to share again. I get blood work every few months due to my testosterone and I absolutely hate needles and it’s always a huge deal to go get it done. But the nurses that helped with my blood draw were absolutely wonderful. They helped me feel relaxed, when I felt nauseous during they held an alcohol wipe to my nose which immediately took away my nauseousness! And after I still felt light headed so they sat with me and made sure I was okay before I left. They all genuinely care about me and that makes me feel awesome. And that type of care is exactly why I choose planned parenthood! And it is always nice to NEVER be misgendered or deadnamed!

They don't prescribe HRT, but they can help you find someone who will. When I inquired, they gave me the info for UF Endocrinology, and they do have a provider who does HRT. The important thing to know is that you need a referral for UF Endo, but PP should be able to do that for you.

It can, theoretically, but afaik such things only happen when it's not properly inserted or if the body rejects it. Either of those is possible, though rare. PP will see you even if you can't pay, though, so I'd go for an exam if I were you. I've been several times, and all of the staff are great.

I believe they do, yes. The cost would vary based on what insurance you have, if any, and I think most plans will cover it partially if not 100%. The good news is that they'll work with you on it. They won't turn anyone away. I've owed them for a while and they haven't sent it to collections.
