I was expecting more of a farmers market style. Like outdoor stands selling artisan crafts and such. Instead all shops are an actual building. Nevertheless, they have a good variety of shops to pass the time. You can do some shopping and grab a bite. You can get a good size 99 cent ice cream cone at Du Pars restaurant. There are restrooms. Take your ticket to get it validated. Right next to the farmers market is The Grove.

I am amazed by the choices of food here, especially the french crepe company. Well, my French friend said it’s American french crepe but the coffee isn’t bad. Also I like the decorations here in Chinese New Year. I will definitely try the New Orleans food and others 🤗

Good place for either eating, doing grocery shopping, or getting a souvenir!! They have Ice Cream, Good Reuben Sandwich, and other stuff you might enjoy. They have a Barber Shop for Haircut or Shaving. They have a Pet Store if you want to get something for your pets. They also have a Hot Sauce Store and a Peanut Shop. They have a History Board that tells how The Original Farmers Market came to be and it is now part of the Grove Mall. I usually come here to just check some good food or desserts. So if you have time stop by The Original Farmers Market to either find some place to eat, getting a souvenir for your family or your friends, or just to look around at the Farmers Market.

I love this place. There are just so many stalls in the market area where you can get really delicious food and drinks. They also have little shops here that sells unique items and gifts. Definitely a place to visit if you are in LA.

Market is free to attend, parking costs unless you get it validated and are within the time allotted with the validation. I believe it is 2 hours free with validation. After that, you pay. So be sure to bring your ticket in for them to stamp.
Yes it is not prohibited at all except in restaurants outside the market
Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and Dragunara Spice Bazaar are certified Kosher. Many of our restaurants offer a variety of vegetarian options but are not certified Kosher.

Thanks Odelia. We did take a look on the off chance that it was open. Thankfully it was. And well worth a visit. Cheers, Andy

Hi Kathy, there are a few tour companies currently operating that make a stop at The Original Farmers Market. The ones we are aware of are the following: Surf City Tours, https://www.adayinlatours.com/, https://surfcitytours.com/ and https://www.starlinetours.com/en. Hope this helps!
Typically mornings and late afternoons see fewer crowds, but because we are open air and are strictly following the County's Covid protocols our environment is quite comfortable all day long. If you have any questions, please call our customer service office at 323-933-9211.

Hi John, Thank you for your question. Dogs, big and small, are allowed on a leash at the Farmers Market.
Quiz every Tues evening
Didn't notice any special parking place for motorbikes
Hi Diane, Yes, dogs are allowed in the Market as long as they are on a leash. Thank you!
Not really, some dayes good and some dayes the prices up depends on the products.
Idk about any of that sorry.
I would probably just go there and ask those who are anyway doing it. Or call the number if there is one listed on the site.
Contact the front office for more information about wheelchair rentals
There are 2 parking lot sections in the farmers market and both entrance can be accessed on fairfax.
You can always check online for store hours and days of operation. It may vary store to store.
I called and asked if EBT cards were accepted and they said no. Hope this helps.
If you want it quiet. Mornings. Even weekend before 11am
This is a farmers market...
Did not see the famous Elephant cakes, i did inquire about the bakery that sold them, however no one could tell me where to purchase them. Sorry, but i did find the best candy apples in the market.
There are a couple of places that offer wings. There is a BBQ place that offers almost anything BBQ and right next to it there is a chicken coop. There is also a Wood Ranch restaurant and they offer chicken wings. There might be more but you have to explore.
It is on the second floor (elevator available) on the east side of the Farmers Market, by Sur la Table and Havaiana's. There is usually a host/hostess at the base of the stairs to direct you.
