I recently moved in to the venue and I have to say I am very disappointed. It’s nice and gives the illusion that they have everything in order but they don’t. My first issue is that they don’t answer the phone or get back to you at all. You want to call about something small? Forget it, you might as well go down to the office. When I asked about this they said it’s because they’ve been getting a lot of hate calls lately, and I’m honestly not surprised. However in the 30 seconds it takes to be sent to voicemail they could’ve included that you need to leave a voicemail stating your issue because of the high rate of “hate” calls. Second issue is the amount of small mistakes they’ve been making. I’d be okay and understanding if it were a few mistake here and there, but after moving in the amount of small mistake add up. They add up to one huge annoyance. For example, the email sent out about supply chain issues. (This was sent out 24 hours prior to move in) This email was mass sent out to everyone and I’m 90% sure this email didn’t even apply to half the people moving in the next day. They could’ve done the work to see who was missing what and sent an email to them directly. It’s small mistake like this that I’m sure are getting them “hate” calls. Another example of mistakes they were making is move in day. It was absolute chaos. No one at the stations had the proper keys for people. They offered an “express check in” however they disregarded the fact that not everyone will have access to a printer for the sheet required for express check in. In the email sent out about express check in they made it seem like you only needed the sheet explicitly for express check in, when in reality you needed it whether you were doing it or not. Instead of making a form to sign up for express check in they just assumed that people who qualified would do it, when this wasn’t the case for many people. As I and many other people had to go all the way back to the front to retrieve our keys and paperwork. My final issue is the lack of effort put into cleaning these apartments. My wall had holes in it where someone had mounted a tv and painted over the holes with the wrong paint color. There were also several poorly patched holes in the walls. My room also reeks of cigarette smoke, it’s very obvious that someone smoked in this room and nothing was done about the smell. In the kitchen not only was there a melted outlet plate but there was also lighters, scissors, and pamphlets left in the drawers. The washer was probably the worst thing there. It reeked of mold and has very obvious VISIBlLE mold stains that hadn’t been taken care of. The back porch? Covered in dirt and random items from previous tenets, as well as, spray paint marks all over the floor. Speaking of floors, we were assigned the first floor and not only do we have to pay more for higher ceilings that we did not ask for, we don’t even get hardwood floor. The concrete floor is scuffed beyond belief and cracked in some places. I’m beyond done with the amount of mistakes they’ve made. It’s past the point of leniency for me. I can be understanding about a few mistakes because we’re all human, however, this vast amount of mistakes in this short time of having to deal with them. It’s a little more than ridiculous, and all I can say is they need to get they’re stuff together.

The management at Venue sucks. When I was helping move my friend’s belongings to a new apartment, there wasn’t a desk in the room. It was on a Friday when I told two of the guy secretaries at the front desk about it and they said, “Yes we’ll have the desk in the room by sometime today” and they didn’t have it in there for a WHOLE WEEK. Please do not tell residents you’ll do something if you’re not going to follow up.. it’s unprofessional and not a good look.

Should be zero stars... Oh where to start, the venue has single handedly been the most unpleasant expierence of my college career. From move in to move out there has been nothing but problem after problem. From the day that I moved in I was met with roaches, dead and alive all over my unit. Furniture missing and unassembled boxes of furniture to which we the residents were assumed to put together ourselves because they're turn team is unapollogetically lazy. Management does not carry out thorough walk throughs or inspections for approvals except for when it comes to assessing charges(and this does not mean fixing the problems whatsoever, just charging residents for them). The backyard was trashed and filled with weeds, dirt, garbage, and other miscellaneous items left behind by the previous residents. Throughout my residency at the venue the professionalism and courtesy of office staff by management has been next to absent. Grounds around the complex are constantly littered in garbage and the gates are broken about every other week. For your own sanity do not live here, the place is an absolute dump and management's service is far less than satisfactory. Overall I am severely disappointed with Horizon's(their corporate management company) oversight of this property but am more than glad to say that I do not live here anymore.

This place is simple, affordable, and convenient. I been in this apartment for 2 years and the service here has been top notch. Only downside is that there the people do be loud and rowdy at night. Overall the place has been one of the best apartments I lived in so far.

As long as you have your gate clicker you can get in 24/7 otherwise it's open during business hours.
