The TV on Beacon St. is a very poorly managed store. I'm involved in wildlife rehab and buy about $50 of supplies every three weeks or so and have done so for years. The supplies need to be ordered from the warehouse by the store, but very frequently the orders would not arrive because the store forgot to enter the order. At one point, without raising my voice, cursing, or being insulting, I told the manager that this really caused problems for me because it would put me in the lurch for feed while I tried to cover my needs while I waited for the order to be placed. I asked him if there was a way that we could figure out to make sure that my order was actually placed when I called. To my surprise, the manager very abruptly and rudely told me to find another store and then promptly hung up on me. First they were deeply unprofessional by not placing the orders, then sometimes when it would come in, they'd put it on the retail shelves where anyone could get it, they'd never call me when it arrived, and then the manager hangs up on me and tells me that I'll need to find another store for what I need - and all because I asked him, again fairly politely, that we find a way to make sure that my orders actually get placed. I really think this store is very unprofessional and it all comes down to the manager. He seems very surly and unhappy with his job and how his life has turned out. I have since found another TV whose manager loved the fact that I do animal rescue and actually ordered more than I need so that he'll always have it on hand and will order more when my stock runs low. It's great to be able to continue to do business with TV, but this time with a well run store with a very nice manager.
