Super tough single track. Excellent hiking but several trees down. Only advanced mountain bikers but most level hikers are okay.

This was a beautiful hike. The trail is well marked. From the road it's a steady incline all the way up to the overlook. The views at the top are wonderful and there are plenty of places to stop and take it in.

Wonderful hike, it's amazing how beautiful the view is for such a short climb. I went out solo and made it to the overlook within 25 minutes, according to Strava it's about 1.2 miles each way. Make sure you bring good shoes, perhaps a walking stick, as it's a bit rocky but not too bad. Oh and definitely layer on the bug spray! The trail is very well maintained and clearly marked, the parking is a little confusing at first but you'll want to park in the lot ACROSS from the entrance to the trail. About 1/3 of the way up you'll see a fork in the trail, to the left says private property and to the right you can see the blue trail blazes, so go right. It's obvious once you know it but when I first came up to it I was a little nervous. Once you're at the top there are multiple outcroppings with great views, so don't be discouraged if it's crowded. Even past the stone bench there are a few more spots, each a little different from the last. All in all this was one of the best hikes I've done in NoVA!

Great views with a short hike. The small parking lot was confusing due to the no trespassing signs but I parked there without a problem.

You can park. There are about 5 spaces on the left, also I have seen cars parked on the side of the road
