Had a lot of fun here with the family. Customer Service at Mad River assisted us in changing our time to an earlier time so we could avoid the late blizzard that came in later. Only negative is that they only had one carpet lift running …

Great time... Staff was very friendly.... The park was in great shape. We've been here many times and it never disappoints.

We had blast at the park yesterday and we are looking forward to going back. Just a little tip.... bring a small towel to wipe down the inside of the tube that might be a little wet from the snow. There is a heated building on site where …

We visited Feb 29, 2020 and it was an absolutely horrible experience. We paid $100 for 4 of us to go down the hill twice. The lines were so ridiculously long. They only allowed people to go down the hill about once every 3 minutes. With 15 people in each line, that means you're standing around waiting to go for 45 minutes between rides. That's absurd for a 4 second ride. Oh and don't forget that about once an hour they shut down for 20 minutes while they drag the gravel at the bottom of the hill. The people who paid to be there were miserable (and fighting with each other over the stress), the poor employees were miserable, and the whole experience was miserable. If it were possible to give 0 stars, I would. Apparently this place used to be great, but under different management it has been completely ruined.

Questions & Answers

is there snow to tube? if a person is not tubing, is there something to do in the lodge? thank you

They have snow makers on site to make snow, should there be no natural snow. They also have a snow report on their website with info. Come mid-March is generally when they close as the weather stays too warm too long for them to keep consistent snow. Can't speak to the lodge as we didn't visit it but I imagine with COVID protocols the lodge access is limited. Check their website to be sure.

Do you have to buy tickets in advance due to COVID??

Yes you do but if you're worried about the virus I wouldn't advise going there. They didnt clean off any of the equipment and the place was littered with dirty old mask
