Went to visit my bestie while she is camping here. It's a very nice place. The state parks beach needs cleaned from the grass/seaweed.

Saturday July 9th, 2022 Tony and I Visited Indian Lake State Park and stopped at the Old Field Beachfront Park. It's Free to enjoy and open to the Public. There are bathrooms, a few covered shelters and various picnic tables. Sandy Beach front area to enjoy the water...lol just no waves like the ocean... I saw some Green on the water...Tony thought it was algae or bacteria. I thought it was pollen...who knows we didn't have our swimming outfits or towels. But there was a lot of people out there enjoying it. The weather was amazing Plenty of free parking. People riding bikes, fishing, swimming and picnics galore. I wish we had this near my home but we are 3hrs away one way!!! But a great road trip!!!

Visited family that was camping there. The only problem i noticed was how many nice sites were booked but empty. I'm told this is an ongoing problem. So if you're new to this campground, don't expect to ever get a site under the mature trees. Restrooms were very clean. Nice pool for the kids. And ice cream served at the camp store.

No. Closed for the season
Yes, at main shower houses but smaller ones are closed.
Two, one large, newer facilities no trees west side. State park on North side, lesser known shady beach near McDonald's in Russel point
No boat camp does not have fire pits..but you can bring your own
Need to check on state website. They have some walk-in campsites that go quick and reservation sites that can be booked months ahead.
If your asking about the state park, No there is no permanent pads for RVS
Just follow all the boats anckerd together. They swim every where
There are multiple activities, such as Canoeing, Fishing and many types of camping. Visit Ohio DNR and look up the complete list of activities
They have a few near the restrooms, I'd suggest bringing your own though.
Take the family out fishing. Choppy or calm. They'll have fun, and you'll be more then just fishing.
You will have to call the park phone number. Campsites are great. But I believe they'll be able to better help you.

Premium is for large RVs for electric, sewer and water lines.full service is for electric and water without a hookup to sewer
Yes. You would have to check with the park office as to what you can hunt in what area's but yes there are definitely public hunting areas
This link might have a more accurate answer for you. http://wildlife.ohiodnr.gov/indianlake
Yes, they have 360 electric sites. You can have up to 3 tents on a campsite. Camping is mixed between tents and RV. http://parks.ohiodnr.gov/indianlake#reserve
No Indian Lake is not under any alerts or warnings
I dont believe it does, I have a house there and havent ever paid to use their facilities at the park.
No
There are tie UPS along seawall. Not sure of the cost or availability.
You should stay at a nearby Hotel, preferably near the lake close to the Moose, popular restaurant down there and if you have a friend the membership you can eat there with them
Kind of, there are grills on the fire rings..
If you have a boat there is enough space for tubing/skiing/etc; there is also a beach where they can swim and build in the sand, there is a camp site, and they are in the sun all day...my daughter is usually tired.
What is the difference between full service sites and premium sites?
