Poor quality burnt almond cake. They did not even accept return of the cake. Can do much better

Edit: Their chocolate chip cookie is really good! Perfectly soft, with a bit of chew. Which is how I like it. Also, the cranberry oatmeal cookie is really tasty. Their raspberry macaroons are really good too. Staff is kind as well, and gave some good suggestions. Overall, a great bakery! 5/5 stars! Absolutely love the mango and raspberry mousse cake!

The review is based on just one item so please take it into consideration with that caveat in mind. I was not a fan of their burnt almond cake. Far too much sugar. I could not continue after a couple of spoons and that rarely happens with me.

Really love the desserts here. Tried the chocolate hazelnut mousse today which was so smooth and silky. I have tried their classic cheesecake and burnt almond cake too. I want to try other stuff but always end up buying the same thing

Its variation is 1 layer choc cake, 2 layers vanilla, amaretto (almond flavored rum), custard and whipped cream covered with baked and candied almonds. The cake originated in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania) several decades ago but it's made best here

Yes. They are only available in chocolate and start at $40. The smallest would be a 6" round using ganache. In fondant it would start at $50. The filings available would be: dark choc ganache, milk choc ganache and hazelnut ganache. Please place your order one calendar week in advance.
