Good latin food in Mountain View..., ceviche, paella, grilled octopus, can't go wrong. Good boozy drinks too and sangria.

Perfect place for latin cuisine right in the middle of mountain view downtown. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the food is delicious, tapas style. I believe they play salsa music on the weekends and had a super fun cool vibe

Empanadas are a good choice for vegetarians.

Delicious vegetarian options. Two of my favorites are the wild mushroom empanadas and the black bean soup.
Hi Yaron, yes we do have curbside pickup available. Once you arrive to pickup your order, call 650-940-9500 and we will bring your order to your car. Take-out menu can be found at www.cascalrestaurant.com.
Yes, Cascal is the perfect place to bring a date or significant other! We offer a lively environment where you won't get bored, but will have the privacy you need. Our menu is exciting and varied, with options for everyone (including veggie and gluten free). If you like dancing, we have live music on Friday and Saturday nights, and if it's your anniversary, we'll help you celebrate with a complementary Bread Pudding. Cascal is the place to be if you want a romantically fun experience!
We (4 ppl) ordered a salad, calamari, meatballs and small Paella and had leftovers. On its own, probably good for 2 people.
Food was fresh Ingredients . Tapas Spicy A full variety Chef will cater to yr Palate ! Great Service Beautiful Ambience Reservations a must
Across the (main) street behind the row of shops. There's very little parking in front.
The ceviche is good
To be honest, an hour for lunch isn't enough to enjoy lunch comfortably. Unless everyone knows what they want before even sitting down. As a server, I notice it takes about good 2 to 5 minutes to scan the menu. 1to 3 min minutes to take orders. 7 to 10 minutes to get appetizers. And last but not least 15 to 30 min to get main entrees. Best thing you can do to save time to enjoy food at CASAL, make a reservation and ask them if you can order in advance. Don't forget to try their dessert. It is so good. :)
Yes. The atmosphere is festive. So it's not so much a quiet, romantic place for dining, for example.
Yes, there are good ones.
Yes. Plenty of vegetarian tapas style options and also a vegetarian paella. The queso fundido and the empanadas are really good!
They have Spanish Gazpacho, and Cuban black bean soup
Food has gone down in quality and service is pretty bad
Yes
Around the corner on the other side of the street on the back of the building there's big parking
Directly in the back of the restaurant one block before there's a whole parking lot
There is a parking lot 1 block up, on the corner of Bryant and California (diagonally across from cvs) It's about a 1 to 2 minute walk from there
Yes
On the corner of Castro and California street, in mountain view.
The specialty at Cascal is paella. They also have lots of tapas. Most popular are the mushroom empanadas. I also really like the beef cheek adobo.
Peruvian Ceviche and all their Paellas
Happy hour fish tacos
The drinks
Is that a question? Are you asking about food quality, how food is tasting? Depends on the order. Some are too oily. Some are good.
Yes, they accept dogs in three patio
Probably not

Yes
Yes, they have vegetarian options

No free stuff. Not sure About kids menu
Yes!
Vegetable Paella is awesome in the entrees. Lots of veggie options in the small plates.. Check the online menu
Cascal is the place to be at -- delicious food, good drinks, & great atmosphere. They are following the state's and city's guidelines on covid. It's a safe place. Highly recommend!
They have an amazing Vegetable Paella here
Definitely more upscale at dinner, although lunch is more casual. Good mix of small (2-4) tables and groups, but it can get a little loud inside.
Hi Marco. We open everyday at 11:30 am. We don't have breakfast, but we do have a Lunch menu from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Fridays.
Cascal is an upscale Spanish Restaurant
I really wish they did. And all you can drink. Unfortunately it's a no to both
It's been there for 9 years at least.
Yes
It's the fee they charge when you would like to bring your own wine to pair with the food. Basically, you pay the restaurant to drink the wine you bring to the restaurant. At Cascal, it's $20.
They are generally open every day from 11:30am to 9pm, and slightly later until 11:30 on Friday and Saturday.
