The place was clean, everyone was friendly, the food wonderful. However, I was extremely disappointed to learn that the original owners sold the business.

I ordered takeout. Was told 20 minutes, it took almost an hour. I ordered the chicken parm with spaghetti. It was good but nothing great, very mediocre. And small portions. A side order of sausage was 1 sausage cut in half.

My husband and I stopped for a bite to eat Tuesday after attending a funeral. We're from Connecticut so we wanted a meal before driving home. Green Gables did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing, the prime rib was the best we ever had, big portions and amazing prices. We told the staff they should open a restaurant in Norwalk! Would love to know where they get the prime rib, would love to order it!
