The table is great and I would have given 5 stars but the delivery driver was incompetent and had a nasty attitude. I just moved into an apartment complex and the driver was having trouble finding the place and complaining that the gps led him to the wrong address asking me how he is supposed to find the place when the gps is wrong. If pizza delivery drivers can find my place than any one with a little bit of brain power should be able to find it. Not to mention the fact that he insulted me, not once, but twice, for not knowing what building number I lived in after I already explained to him that I just moved in. I didn't really mind that I had to help him carry it up the stairs but he acted like I was obligated to help him after he had such a rough time finding the place. If he doesn't have the basic directional skills to find an address without me going out to look for him maybe he should find another job. But the table is nice though and I am happy with it. Just not happy I had to deal with that rather unpleasant experience at 10 o clock at night when I should be sleeping. Edit: Mystic Barrels called me to apologize the next day and asked if there was anything they could do. It was a really awkward phone call that I could have done without. It's not like they can do anything for me within reasonable request so what am i supposed to say. But at least he apologized for the inonvenience. I would have rather the driver apologized himself but it is what it is. I have done driving for uber in unfamiliar areas before and had to navigate apartment complexes like mine and I get that it can be frustrating especially when customers are being impatient with you, but it should never be the other way around.

The finish on the butcher block was not very well done, and the idea that you have to mount the top to the barrel yourself just amazed me. The screws that he provided to mount the top to the barrel were very tiny and so I had to purchase …Hey Bill! Can’t seem to find your order based on your name/email so please email me at [email protected] so we can follow up and get this resolved 👍🏼 That is unacceptable to me to hear that the top was not done well. Must have been overlooked by my own quality checks! We will certainly get a new one to you that is in perfect shape! As for securing the top, unfortunately it wouldn’t fit through most doorways if it arrived already in one piece. Plus dollying the assembly around would be a bear 😕. However, the fasteners provided are plenty strong, especially once all 8 are in place. Never had an issue with strength of them and hopefully assembly you found to be pretty simple.
