Great little spot. Small, easy menu with delicious options. We had the calamari as an app and it was on point. Rings and legs that were nice and crispy. I had the salmon with asparagus and rice. Price was a little high but flavor matched. All in all a good night out. They also have a good little drink menu.

Mid-afternoon visit for lunch out of the 98 deg temps. Wait staff efficient and had bev's on table quickly. Porter creamy and Reuben yummy (could have had less mustard). Friendly comfortable atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I try to have lunch and a girls afternoon, she live in Lincoln but works in Auburn so she likes to try our restaurants here. Her first time at Monkey Cats and we really enjoyed it! They had a drink special for cruise night thst was really enjoyable and the appetizers were wonderful. All in all a great lunch, service and enjoyable time!

Food and service are very good but conversing across the table can be challenging when happy groups are also in the dining room and menu is a bit pricey ($$$). If the conditions outside are tolerable, opt for a table on their charming patio or in front of the store for a more casual vibe.
