A mini museum of 1 Rocket and a couple of planes but beautiful, with beautiful gardens! All free

Coincidentally, we came through here because of the severe storms in Death Valley and also spent a night in town. Virgin Galactic's spaceport is a must-see, even if you don't get very close to the planes. After all, you can take a look at the runway from Cafe Voyager and even walk a bit on it. There is also a Virgin carrier plane. You can also see the many parked passenger planes of numerous airlines. At the entrance there are three airplanes that can be viewed up close, as well as the rocket capsule and Spaceship One in a small exhibition area. Overall, you could do a lot more with the area, it could be a real tourism magnet for space enthusiasts. Maybe it'll come after all.

Awesome place

Great spot for aviation enthusiasts. A lot of industrial enterprises nearby. It would be nice to establish a visitor center.

No, that would be your nearest recycling center
Which ones? It's pretty much an every day thing.
No.
I don't know the exact number, but it is quite a few.
Call, or upon arrival head into the administration building, see Harold Smith (ops.mgr.) ask for a free tour and usually one can be arranged. The Boneyard is just one point of interest. Also, you're visiting the first "Spaceport" designated by the FAA. Aviation legend Burt Rutan of Scaled Composites won a ten million dollar prize for building and launching the first private space vehicle from Mojave. There is a museum of flight there as well, all free of charge. Enjoy!
There is no public access
The Administration building is open to the public at no charge, other areas such as the boneyard and airfield are off-limits.
Pretty sure no. It is on airport property which you definitely need permission to enter.
They have a bone yard everything else is private benefactors
Yes there is an aircraft boneyard there.
Sure, if some one is selling. There are some private GA hangars, but this airport is mostly commercial aerospace development.
Okay thanks so much.
I could be wrong, but I believe there is no access to the airport to commercial or Personal Use. I think it is there for the companies surrounding only.
There's a restaurant that has a view of the flight line, you can see planned taking off or landing if there's good weather. There's also a little park with an exhibit, and a couple planes to see. Sometimes there's something interesting flying around.
I tried and they said it was private. There is no public access.
If you asking about the "boneyard" - than no, they don't have any kind of public tours
No cost to visit. Visitors can go in and look around but some areas off limits. Not sure about hours.
That is something that I would suggest calling them about.
That is something that you would have to contact them via their website or by calling them.
