this is a pretty standard grocery store, but it's less sketchy than other Safeways that i've been to in Seattle. it has the standard array of groceries, and the pharmacy provided a booster shot of Pfizer in good order - i was in and out pretty quickly.

Amazingly, the most racist arrangement of products and aisle labels I've ever seen. I didn't even realize an arrangement or grouping of products could be so racist, but it's like cultural appropriation to a whole new level. A start would be to not have a "Hispanic foods" section, like at all, but especially not with Newman's Own salsa and Guadalupe candles. Heaven forbid Goya brand appear here, because that would be /Republican/. Absolutely unreal as it fades in a gradient from Hispanic food to pasta to rice. Impressive. And this is just one part of one aisle. I could not give them my money, and recommend you not, too.. I certainly will never visit a Safeway again.

This has been my primary Safeway for 3 years. The service across all departments has significantly decreased, likely a result of the pandemic but this justification can only be used for so long until it’s a direct reflection of leadership (not just the store director, but department heads as well). Usually only 1-2 checkout lanes open during peak hours forcing lines down the aisles and staff just kind of stand around and talk amongst each other with no sense of urgency. If you can’t get more talent in, utilize the ones you have. Stock crew could certainly be cross-trained to help cashier during rushes. The pharmacy… a huge frustration point over the last 4 months. Pharmacy techs seem lost in the water while the ever-evolving pharmacist avoids any interaction, wait times can exceed 30 minutes for pickup – extreme disorganization on their front. With all of that said; a huge thank you to all of the friendly, knowledgeable and hard working team members throughout this store. At a certain point, given the nature of recent reviews and blatant in-store havoc, store management should really take a step back to reflect on the quality of the store, it’s service and take into account what the store’s customers are saying rather than brushing it off and hoping it goes away.

I don't know about Safeway try Fred Meyers
There's an unsecured network called "safewaywifi" at this location. As a general practice, I would recommend avoiding it. It's not a feature the store advertises anywhere, no way to know whether it's official or a honeypot.
