Their work seems to be mostly passable. They upcharge a lot. I'm no car expert and young, so I was an easy target and they got a lot of money from me. Told me that the car shop I got a first opinion from didn't have certified mechanics, which was untrue. When it was time for a check-in, I took it back to the first shop, which told me that a lug nut had been improperly tightened and broke off and needed to be replaced. Of course, I tried to get GIC's written consent to go elsewhere as per their fine print, but they conveniently never saw that email. The first shop was much cheaper and more trustworthy and I won't be coming back here. Now, they won't stop sending me spam mail, emails, texts, despite me requesting to them stop.
