I feel pretty SHARP having found Knife aid!! They did exactly what they said they would and could do. I am thoroughly impressed and have had ALL of my knives and scissors sharpened like new!! This is not your mother's sharp knives! Winner winner chicken dinner cut correctly!! LOL!!

I used the service twice. Sent Japanese knives. They did bad first time and redid the job for free. They sharpened them using the wrong angle. I gave them 2nd chance and sent a set again. Same Japanese knives. Believe it or not, same issue. Wrong angle. Instead of sharp knives now I have a set of dull and spoiled ones. It seems they are more about e-commerce, rather than knives.

The shipping and return processes are excellent. Very easy and fast. Unfortunately, the most important feature of this service, SHARP KNIVES, has been disappointing. I REALLY wanted to love this service, so much so that I used Knife Aid twice, but both times my knives came back only slightly sharper than when I sent them. So, I highly doubt I'll use them again. Time to look for a local purveyor.

I don't have a huge selection of knives, so I hate to be without them. I've used Knife Aid for a few years now, and they return my knives perfectly sharp and in a reasonable turnaround time. When I have a better supply of favorite knives, I plan to sign up for their six-month subscription service so I always have sharp knives.
