Hi Kellee, thanks for your inquiry. We do accept most Anthem PPO plans (employer-provided) just keep in mind that every policy is different. As part of our admissions process we will run a Verification of Benefits that will tell us everything we need to know about your plan. Note: We do not "balance bill." That means if your policy pays 60/40 or 70/30 (otherwise known as co-insurance or share of cost) we DO NOT bill you for the balance. We will accept the 60% or 70% as 100% as long as your deductible and maximum out-of-pocket (MOOP) have been met. ZERO costs once you're admitted. A typical inpatient (detox and/or residential) stay is 28-30 days followed by either day treatment, evening outpatient or a combination of both. Hi Nicki, Kaiser Health Plans are not "traditional" insurance as Kaiser is a managed care organization. At Summit Estate, we accept most employer-provided PPO insurance plans from companies such as AETNA, United Healthcare, CIGNA, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and more as well as substantial discounts for paying privately. To make use of your coverage and Kaiser services, you must begin at Kaiser. They do have a few contracts with 3rd party programs, but even with these you have to start with a referral from your primary care physician or from one of the other clinics such as CDRP. I can say that typically, unions require that you call them first, and they will either point you in the direction of programs they have contracts with, or let you know the specifics for getting into an out of network facility. We do accept most employer provided PPO insurance plans, and we do not "balance bill" nor do we charge for co-insurance. Unfortunately we do not. We are a very small (6-bed) program for adults, primarily working professionals. The easiest way to find specialized programs is by calling SAMHSA at 800-662-4357. They have access to information on every licensed facility in the country. Good luck, and be well...

Hi Hannah, there is no set answer to your question. Every client, patient, and insurance policy is unique. Out-of-pocket costs can range from $0 to $500 to several thousands of dollars depending on the level of care, length of stay and medical needs. Our program is highly individualized, accepting only 6 clients at a time- that's just 6 beds, with a 3-1 staff to client ratio on 24 beautiful acres. We do accept most employer-based PPO insurance, and we can provide you with a complete breakdown of what your policy will and will not cover, including deductibles, co-pays and any out-of-pocket expenses. Hi Mark. Although Summit Estate does not work with Medi-Cal, there are more providers that do than ever before. To save time and frustration call your local Medi-Cal office or the number in the back of your card. You can also visit the office in person. Ask them for referrals to programs with open beds in your area or the area you wish to be in. You can then contact those facilities directly.
