They are trying to make pay for a service I already pay. I did a Calcium Score that cost $120 dollars and they are trying to charge me another $209. The calcium score cost almost the same in different places. At shutter imaging it cost around $130. We call Doctors Hospitals, me and the doctor office to check the price in different occasions, and they told us the price-was $120. I went to do the test and I paid on the spot what they charged me $120. That was 7/7. A month later I got a bill. They itemized “diagnostic imaging” $996. The bill item don’t say calcium score. It is a general description. They cannot write calcium score $996, because is not what it cost. The bill doesn’t say I paid $120 (I have evidence in my credit card statement), another thing incorrect. A benevolente discount of 740 appears in the bill with no explanation, and the total due is 209. They invent different explanations when I call. First they believe I saw a doctor, which I didn’t. The second time they said that the $120 dollars was only an estimate not the actual price, which shouldn’t be. Or at least they should tell you it is only an estimate and you can be billed a different. But the two times we call (my doctors office an me) they gave a price of $120 for a calcium score. Remember we call twice and it is also about the same in Shutter. Update: Because of this review, a lady, one of the directors there called me. She apologized and said I shouldn’t have received that bill because I did pay what the calcium score cost. She cleared my account and I don’t have any debt with them. If you have any billing problem in the future and it is not being solved, know that you can write to the attorney general if you have being billing wrongly. When I tried to explain to the billing department to clarify the issue, they wouldn’t listen. They insist in me paying arbitrarily. Talking with them wasn’t productive, only this review made management call me. I appreciate her call and the quick resolution. But I will avoid going to this hospital again.

Real Talk

OUTSTANDING!!! Calm, cool and collected. I visited the ER presenting with a crush/ laceration to my pinky finger. Staff like a Pit Crew. So on it. I met the most beautiful human being in the world. A female version of Clark Kent working her day-to-day job almost invisible to others....yet travels the ends of earth helping those that most desperately are in need. Absolute selflessness. Super Woman does exist...and she is hiding in plain sight at a ER located in Manteca. P.S. No more blue sutures....hard to see.

This review is mainly for the ER and Labor and Delivery dept. Most recent experience was when I delivered my baby and it was absolutely amazing! ER was packed, yet nurses and staff managed everything very well. Theresa, Melissa, Sally and rest of nurses in L&D dept. Wow! I cannot even begin to express my gratitude. Night I actually delivered wasnt great, since nurses hardly stopped by unless I called them over and over, I had so many questions as a new mom and was sad Theresa's shift was over :( All I will say is I will never forget any of you! Thank you!
