Manager accused me of trying to use fake money... The money cane directly from the Wells Fargo across the lot. The bank assured me that the money was real. This manager seemed annoyed before she was called to the register and immediately dismissed me, tellingme to take my fake moneyelsewhere. I have been shopping here for 14 years now and I will not be back. I call corporate and never even got a call back.

Long time shopper at this store, but lately have found other stores. I don't begrudge them making a profit and paying their employees a living wage, but their tactic of raising prices and then putting a sticker on those products claiming they have "lower prices every day" really irritates me. Sierra Nevada beer for $9.58 a six pack is not my idea of a "lower price." $9 for 2 packs of veggie burger products is not either. Cans of soup for over $3? Nope. And don't get me started on the "markdown" rack by the back door. Those aren't markdown prices by any stretch. S-mart, get rid of those stickers. You're insulting us. Beautiful store (loooove the lighting), great staff, excellent produce section. Not crazy about the deli. They try like heck to keep an eye on the homeless, but I'm sure it's a difficult battle. Hammer Ranch Center is trashed from the homeless who hang out and beg. I wish the owners of the center would get some security and have the place cleaned daily, instead of what seems like once a month. But I don't think the owners care- that huge block of cement broken off by the island at the Pacific Ave. entrance has been there for years. Edit: I went in this morning a little after 7 and it was FREEZING in there. 😲 How about maybe raising the temps and lowering prices?

Located in the Hammer Ranch Shopping Center, this is my go to for meat & seafood. Always fresh with a great selection. I always stock up when they have a sale. Employees are friendly & it’s a quick in & out unless you go hungry.
