The first tech that came out misdiagnosed the issue. I asked questions that should have made him check deeper for issues. The part was shipped to the wrong address. The second tech that came a month later to install the part didn’t check to see if the fridge was fixed. It wasn’t. When I called to schedule a tech to come back out they couldn’t schedule sooner than a week. I tried to reach Sears to discuss the misdiagnosis and the charge of over $550 to install a compressor fan $350 labor for 15 minutes labor. I finally just canceled the service, will eat the $550 and have ordered the part that actually failed ($16) and will fix it myself. Do not use Sears. There are other repair options who actually care about customer service. Oh, and they wanted to charge another $104 diagnostic fee to send someone back out.
