To apply for the California Security Guard Registration (Guard Card License) you need to complete an 8 hour class, have your fingerprints done and submit an application with fees to the state. We offer a package where you can complete everything you need to in order to apply for the Guard Registration. The Guard Card Package is $220, which includes the 8-hour class, live scan fingerprinting, background processing fees, and the guard card application fee. You complete everything during our one day 8-hour class, and we do your fingerprinting and submit the state application and application fee electronically. No, the Guard Card must be renewed with the licensing agency, the Bureau of Secuirty & Investigative Servivces. You can renew your Guard Card online at www.breeze.ca.gov
