I received help from Dr.La Duca for my young daughter's hyperhidrosis of her feet. He listened to the history she had, said Botox without sedation was too painful, and I told him I researched iontophoresis and he agreed it was worth a try. So I collected all my daughter's medical records and his office assistant helped put together a request to my insurance to cover the iontophoresis machine. With their help my insurance covered the machine, it took months, but we have been using it for years now.

I’m not sure why Dr. Laduca has gotten poor reviews. I’ve seen him for about 5 years now at all 3 offices. He is smart, kind, and caring. Honestly, I don’t have a bad thing to say. I would encourage you to find out for yourself, not rely on google reviews!

I was really disappointed with my care here. It’s the only place in the area that accepted my insurance. At first I was happy with everything. Even though I wasn’t made aware ahead of time that I was scheduled with Heidi instead of Dr. LaDuca, I realize that happens sometimes. Heidi was thorough and seemed knowledgeable. The place was clean, the people were nice. She said she would “take care” of the spot I was there for and removed it and sent it for testing. She said it shouldn’t grow back. I was surprised to get a bill in the mail for over $300. After the removal site healed the bump had started growing back. I spoke with Heidi and she explained the bill was partially so high because they had to test it twice because they couldn’t figure out what it was, and also I have a high deductible plan so I expected to have to pay something. When I explained that it was growing back she said she’d look at it at my next visit. Well, I was concerned about getting another large bill in the mail so I didn’t go back. Their online Payment site wasn’t accepting partial payments and when I tried to call the office no one answered. They sent my bill to a lawyer who annoyingly mailed me a statement every two weeks and called repeatedly. I was making payments through the lawyers online payment portal and spoke with the lawyer about my issue with what had happened. He told me to write an email with my concerns that would be sent to Dr. LaDuca’s office in hopes that they would lower my bill. I sent the email and Heidi sounded upset and defensive in her response. She did not lower the bill at all. I was hoping to at least get one of the testing charges taken off, or the charge from sending it to a lawyer which was about $100. They decided to send me to collections. I have since paid the whole bill. I’d rather go somewhere else and pay out of pocket if I need another dermatologist.
