I had to go to the Oneida county clerk's office for the first time ever to obtain a DBA. Not knowing anything I asked many questions and they have no patience, they're very rude, and the cashier did not smile, doesn't speak to you and is extremely rude! You think being in this type of office you would have to be a little more professional and a people person.

Tried to get a pre employment background check done by my soon to be employer. Every single county I previously lived in, from 3 different states, returned results within 24 hours. Here we are, going on 5 business days later, still no contact from them. Today was supposed to be my start date. Can't seem to get any answers from anyone. Currently have nowhere to live and no job until the background check clears. Incredibly unprofessional.

Somebody has to do something about the DMV. We went to the Lowville DMV because we thought it would be better than the 2 hour wait at the one in Rome. Wrong we waited for twenty minutes and nothing moved. The parking in Rome DMV is horrible, we went there twice and could not find a parking space. It's time to allow new registrations to be done online. All paperw,irk can be scanned and sent to DMV and they can mail you your plates and registration for a $5.00 fee. This situation has been going, on for a long time and it needs to be solved.
