I've lived in Atlanta since 1986 and I've never been to this preserve. In front of mine invited me for a walk and I thought it would be more like a park. But it's a beautiful maintained preserve so it definitely brings some shoes you don't mind getting muddy. We found a cute little fenced-in area with sheep there. Not sure what the user for maybe to manage the preserve I don't know. But they've got wooden walking paths so that you're going to have to walk in truly muddy and watery areas. Very impressive how they've maintained the green space and they have rain helpful instruction that the beginning of the trail.

Great local nature preserve that has plenty of trails and great spots for bird watching. The preserve is relatively small but jam-packed with different environs and the trails take at least 45 minutes to all be covered. Highly recommend visiting for birding with plenty of feeders, benches, and blinds to watch and take photos from. The kids will also like the natural Woodland areas to play in as well as the large rock formations to check out. Biking is not allowed but dog are allowed.

Sweet little natural area tucked away in a neighborhood next to North Dekalb Mall. Beautiful birds and wildflowers. Flat trails but with many roots, so not great for strollers or the elderly. Bamboo forest area isn't what it used to be - …

A couple of seating areas
The path is not paved or even. You could do it, but it would not be very smooth.
Not a "legal" one that I know of. We've walked in from behind the neighborhood on the North end years ago but I can't begin to tell you where it was. Maybe someone else may know of another I've missed.
Unsure of your question. If you are asking if dogs are allowed, the answer is yes.
No clue. I think work is done on it by a local boy scout troop.
Check with park officials for more details.
