When I went to this location to deposit cash onto my prepaid debit card and the cashier at money services shorted me $20. I had $350 in cash to deposit but when it came time to put the money in the register he said I still owed another $20. When I asked about the missing $20 (I know I did not miscount because I counted it several times prior) he said he could not recount because “it was already in the register”. I tried talking to the manager (for money services) and the man claimed he “counted it three times” even though he only counted it once (and did not even count it out loud in front of me). All the manager did was take his side and say that she’ll give me a call after they count their till for the night. She never did. I was short $20 due to the money services at this location.

This review is for the Starbucks inside. The girl charge me $1 extra for vanilla syrup for vanilla iced coffee. I've never been charged for syrup for vanilla iced coffee I told her no classic so I paid $7 for a venti iced coffee..... garbage

Ive always enjoyed shopping here until the last few months. As of late if I need more than one or two items I just go somewhere else. They simply refuse to provide you with any means to gather your purchases. No carts, no baskets, just a shrug from employees and a suggestion you go out in the parking lot and find your own cart. If you ask employees they tell you that people just steal them and they cant keep them in the store despite the fact that as a corporation they do 35+ BILLION dollars in revenue (the fact they dont even attempt to stop shoplifters is a different complaint). This was never a problem before the pandemic. Its a real shame because otherwise this is a perfectly pleasant place to shop. The King Soopers on W Colfax doesn't seem to have a problem keeping carts and baskets available and I find myself going there if there are more than a handful of cars in the Safeway parking lot. Bottom line. Its a great convenience store but if you need more than a couple of items go elsewhere.
