Absolutely beautiful place however the train runs right behind the campground and the little wooden bridge is very noisy but yet it was peaceful. I go there and just walk around the lake. I will camp there again.

The park itself is nice enough, clean, wide spaces, covered picnic table at each site and a nice playground for kids. We just stayed one night. Do NOT take the gravel road they suggest to enter, it will beat your rig to death! We have a 33 Class A, and those 2 miles took us forever we had to go so slow. You cannot use the bridge either, so take the long way around.

This is no campground!! Is is mislabeled and is strictly an RV park!! You are not allowed to “camp” in this campground AT ALL! The only way you can pitch your couple hundred dollar glamping set up is if you have an RV/camper as well! I guess my $40 rental fee doesn’t spend the same, or isn’t as good as those folks! SMH!!!
