No one answers phones at DMV what make everyone think they will answer questions here? Lol thier all just lazy people that work there.

That's a very good question. My experience is either the line is always busy or it rings and rings with no answer or it leads to a voicemail with no return call very frustrating. No one wants to go in person, wait 2 hours in line just to ask a question or to learn they are missing a form and have to go back through the line at a later time. If someone could please answer the phone. They should employ 1 or 2 people to just answer the phone.

I was there last week...phone rang a lot...only one person to answer it and she was very busy....lines are long and very constant.

Temp tags are only good for 30 days in MO. It will cost you $25 for each month after that. Even if it's 1-3 days late.

Sales tax must be paid within 30 days of purchasing a vehicle. Within that 30 days you can get a temp tag for around 10 dollars. No need to bring sales tax receipts. Wednesday is the best day to go and as long as they are open then registration is open. Also the people who work at this one suck total balls. They are mean and constantly misspell names and fail to transfer plates. One time I went they didnt say a word to me. They just took my papers and screwed my registration up. That was a few weeks ago. If I were you, Id go to Savannah. They are super nice there and are more than happy to give you all the info you need and more. Good luck.

Try and call the Savannah location. I don't think they have a phone on the floor to answer. I've been there and the ladies was using their personal cell phones to make work related calls to help me. They are all very helpful and do their best to get everyone in and out of there.

That's a question for the property tax office.

You can renew it up to 6 months in advance. If your license is expired you have 6 months before having to retest.
