It's definitely a nostalgic theater, from the neon palm trees on the walls to the old school chairs. But it's cozy, never crowded, and has the feel of a local hangout.

Never sold out. Online ticket purchasing not an option. Always good seats available. Old style preserved movie theatre. Location is downtown Overland Park. Primary parking beside theatre, additional public lot behind theatre.
We just saw Viceroy's House this last weekend at the Rio. Excellent movie!
