Beautiful area, lots of delightful flowers to enjoy. Short trails good for families… easy parking…clean bathrooms in Educational building.

Awesome place. None of the trails are more that a half a mile. All trails are google maps walking directions usable. As in I asked google how to get from one point to another and it gave me trail options and turn by turn directions through out the park. Girl Scouts have contributed several board walkways ( over otherwise swampy parts so you can enjoy nature without getting dirty) to the park. Cell service is consistent and good throughout the park. Btw did I I mention the amazing geocaching that’s available here. Included is the OLDEST geocache in Connecticut.( see photo) Gather loved ones and take a break from the your daily rut and breathe in the fresh air.

What a beautiful and peaceful place. The trees, plants and gardens are varied, fascinating and well taken care of. The 911 memorial arch is very special. We'll be back!!

This such an awesome spot to just take a hike and enjoy nature. Free parking available close to ground. Aroma of different types of flowers all around. Could not find the bathroom though. The trail’s are easy to walk and there is stream along some of the them. Will go back.

Mark is correct, you will not be able to dig on the grounds. We hope to see you for a walk through the gardens and trails.
They are almost always rain or shine, and are held in the Silver Educational Center in the case of rain. You can double check the concert listing in the Events & Concerts section of the site to confirm.
Yes, the master gardeners in our plant clinic will facilitate this for you. The plant clinic opened for the summer this week and will run through mid-September. It's open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday in the Silver Educational Center library.
