Thank you for your help to keep the park clean! Our family rule has always been `take out more than what you bring in, if you don't help pick up trash on the way out of the park then you don't get to come back the next time we visit the park ', didn't take my children long to learn pick up trash or stay home! I have been known to pull over and make someone go to pick up trash he or she threw out of my car! I am not paying a fine because someone is irresponsible (& a Pig)!

I'm not sure. You can contact the City of Wichita Kansas. I have gone fishing & walking around the lake a few months ago in late July, it was a nice path & then it turned into mud & sand halfway around the lake.

6:00am park closes at midnight. But as long as it stays quiet no drinking etc.. The rules may be limited to a certain degree.. Good place, Good People & GooD FuN~!.

I went today 6/20/2020 and walked past the beach on the west side, someone had pushed a yellow shopping cart through the sand and left it turned over, liquor bottles, wrappers, broken camp chairs, random abandoned clothing everywhere. Charred wood. This place has become a dump. The park is supposed to be closed at dark but it looks like a bunch of bums live here. Next time I'll bring a trash bag with me and help as much as I can. In the sidewalk in the parking lot, a big fish hook stuck through some kind of tissue. Kids run around here. Travesty. City needs to look after this place and run off the party crowd. Most of the fishing people just have a bucket, chair and a pole.

You're not allowed to swim here. It's more of just a fishing spot.

I believe its 6am but its not gated off. People camp out there all the time even though it closes at midnight
