Great ambiance. Wonderful flavors. Ate outside. So pleasant. A favorite. My anniversary choice.

Romantic place to take date.

This is one of my favorite places to dine at. Lunch is usually a little cheaper than dinner, but if you're looking for a little romantic place to take that special someone, this is your place for dinner! In the day, there's a couple of super cute little shops you can browse, and the koi pond is calming. The trees are lined with fairy lights in the evening, setting a beautiful ambiance and the sense of privacy in the middle of the city!

How did I not know about this hidden gem restaurant. When I arrived on a Friday 10 minutes before their 11 am opening, there were many people already waiting. Unfortunately, they don't take reservations except for big groups. We only waited a few minutes for a table, and sat right next to the koi pond on the patio. The place is lovely. Instead of regular bread, meals are asserts worth fresh, out of the oven apple fritters. I ordered one of the lunch specials, prime rib & brisket sandwich . My friend ordered an appetizerfor lunch, the Texas Trio which included Shrimp CaBo, fried green tomatoes, and crab cakes. The food was delicious. Next time we'll go for dinner. The plane probably looks beautiful Night. My only complaint is the parking. The parking lot is terrible. Narrow spots that make it so difficult for getting in and out of your car, and for getting your car out.

I would cuz it does get very busy, call anyways to make sure that they are open on Easter.
They take reservations in the evening and for large parties (8 and over) for lunch.

Hi Janet, No. We close on Thanksgiving. Jill
@MaryDenver No they really don't cater to gluten free. They do have menu items like steak, but they don't have gluten free bread or other replacements. The first thing they put on all tables are little cinnamon donut holes. My kids were pretty upset they couldn't have them.
We were just there last weekend--I believe you need to make a reservation.
I haven't been there on a Sunday. Their phone number is on this website, You could call them and find out. It's quite empowering to do things for yourself.
The patio is open from 11-3 I think. I was there the end of June. Call them.
They are open for lunch from 11-3
We went to Shenandoah last week for lunch. Delicious! And GREAT SERVICE!!
Yes
It's least busy early. Opens at 5pm. Definitely best to make a reservation though.
Schedule says 11AM
I have no idea if they have Friday specials but this restaurant definitely doesn't suck. If the gentleman's food was cold he should have told the restaurant staff. Was he sitting outside? Did he let his food sit for awhile? How very rude! Great restaurant with wonderful ambiance and excellent customer service.
Not really. They do have a few recipes, a chicken recipe that is unbreaded, you could probably figure something out, but it's Southern comfort food -- it's all about sugar and breading and biscuits and beignets. No a gluten-free kinda place.
Yes, it was their second restaurant before the Belmont shore one closed. They continue to have many of the same menu items.
