Great beach and great site for rocket launch

Beautiful drive to get there through farmland and hilly scenery. Besides the parking lot, there is a small playground, short walking path, bathrooms (didn't go inside), and a gazebo overlooking the estuary. Leashed dogs are allowed!!! ♥️🐕🦺 Unfortunately, to get to the beach you have to go over or under the railroad tracks....only to find out the beach is fenced off and closed. Also....Surf Beach down the way is an Amtrak station? Didn't see any kind of park/beach access but didn't get out to look. Right after that is a closed gate to the Air Force Base....the road does not go through .....gotta turn around and drive back the way you came in.

If you can get in, that beach is nice ... I think it's perfect, with this climate who doesn't want to be in the water, although for me this water is very freezing ...
No. There are restrooms, picnic tables, and grills available.
I don't think so, due to protection of the Snowy Plover.
No kayaking allowed to the best of my knowledge it has been a hang out for me for 20+ years.
