Fantastic sunset

The beach is wide and it is close to the nice architecture of the city. These are the only advantages. The sand is dirty and there are plenty of greasy oil bits near the ocean (you will have to cleen your feet for the looooong time after having a barefoot beach walk). The ocean itself is rather dirty too and it smells like a mix of sewer and seaweed. Forget about swimming unless you are totally desperate. Avoid at all cost.

Beautiful beach with friendly people around and great spot for foiling and kitesurf..the view from inside de ocean to the land is amazing with the mountains there...love it

Perfect for sunset watch

Yes dogs are allowed. I would suggest Arroyo Burro beach if you wanted your dogs to be off their leash
Nope. SB County has Gaviota, Refugio and El Capitan. City has nothing.
Yes, $2/hr up to $12/day https://photos.app.goo.gl/RJ18ydp1aVzyR5j66
Yes Mike. When you pull into Leadbetter Beach you can go left or right. Both are paid parking. You can park your RV in there in some larger designated spots. I believeve it costs $2 per hour and $12"%
No..you pretty much have to bring everything you want to the beach...
No bonfires, but awesome picnic area for BBQ. Enjoy!
Self pay parking, first 75 minutes free.If you stay all day it's only about $5 bucks.
Yes. Been a few times. Masks required in parking lot, bathrooms, etc. but then you can take them off when on the beach.
I don't think so
Leader is a long flat beach with plenty of surface area for skim boarding at low tide.
No, this is not a campground. This is a city park that closes at sunset.

Yes. There are parking spaces designated for over sized vehicles.
