Stayed there July 1st and upon checking out reserved rooms for the following week. Built in 1957, but completely renovated AND was $40 less than nearby competitors Very friendly staff and very clean rooms.

We were making a quick, but important trip to West Virginia. We spent the night at the Turnpike Motel in Princeton, WV. It was a very budget friendly motel, and in addition very clean and comfortable. Plenty of places to eat within a short walk or short drive. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable and offered some excellent suggestions for our stay.

I almost gave it only 3 stars but it is only because of their prices for rooms. Cost $84 a night after fees and whatnot. Rooms are OK and they have a refrigerator and a microwave in them. Like I said, I really came close to only giving them 3 stars but I don't want to make it seem like the people who work there aren't great people and really nice.

Arrived early (12PM) and stopped in just to see if early check was possible. Fortunately, they were able to accommodate. Got in the room to a freshly cleaned cozy room. Heater worked great, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean. Everything and more that anyone could ask for in a budget motel. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.
