This park was recently inaugurated as before it, there was only a very old boat dock with “zombies” walking around (It didn’t feel very safe to be around and being with the family). As part of the new construction, the City added two playgrounds, a splash pad, bathrooms, plenty of parking, new boat ramps, security (Park personnel), plenty of benches as well as a canopy for parties and BBQ grills. The park has very clean facilities and the view is beautiful. You can also catch fish with your family or friends, dock your boat and of the Deerfield beach island. There is also a new pedestrian path that can take you to the Cove restaurant and the Cove plaza, you can practically spend the whole day there, playing with the family, grilling some food, going to the island, shopping at the Cove restaurant and buying stuff at the also renovated plaza south of Sullivan park. If you want to rent the canopy for a party, you can call the main number of Deerfield beach parks and recreations. We were not charged a penny, but I think it is because the park was just opened at that time. Something tells me they are going to start charging soon as this is gem in the middle of Deerfield Beach.

We love it, it is close to home to go with the family, it has its areas in good condition and clean. The children have fun in the water fountains, it is a good place to have a pleasant time.

Yes. I had a bday party last July. At that time the City wasn't charging for rentals... The party was excellent and the service from the City was A1!!!! The best.

No, all playgrounds and park structures are still off limits. More details available at deerfield-beach.com/1850/City-Facilities
Yes the splash pad is working 👍
Just the playground is. Splash pad is open
I was there and it looks like there is a button that push to turn on the fountains. They stay in for maybe 5 minutes or so then shuts off. I've never used it I've only been there once to watch the boats and bridge open. I think it's available until sunset. Not positive. Nice park and it's expanding. Parking is free for 4 hours I think but you have to put your plate number in the kiosk.
Free to tie up, small boat under 20 can get into the inside dock, larger boat can tie up along outside dock.
