My family and I love coming here! Especially since we can bring our dog with us and sit outside. The staff is always very friendly and the service is wonderful. If you want some delicious seafood and good drinks, don't hesitate to try Privates Cove!

A step back in time that is well worth it! This was our favorite place when we lived in the area 25 years ago. So, we returned for a nostalgic visit yesterday, July 20, and met bar tender Chase who was just delightful. We had our favorite Cream of Crab soup, and it was even better than we remembered - a lot of great crab with a little cream stirred in and sherry on the side. Amazing! Had the crab cakes and they we equally amazing. Chase recommended a very nice white wine which was perfect for a hot day. And the atmosphere - what a view of the sailboat marina! We could have stayed all afternoon had our schedule permitted it. The menu looks to be much as we remembered it, so we will return much sooner next time. Go there! And ask for Chase to wait on you!

Pirates cove has some of the best food I've eaten in a long time. What an amazing burger! Fries were perfect! Crab cake was more crab than cake, which is awesome! I dont usually like dessert, but couldn't resist the bread pudding! Great service and cool atmosphere. Even though the patio faces east, the sunset was beautiful! Can't recommend more, and will be back. Oh, and there's a dinghy dock. As well as docking for larger boats.

I’m new to the area and came to this restaurant for the first time. I was blown away by not only the incredible view at the bar but also the service I received. I’ve been to my fair share of places over the years and no one has left an impression on me quite like the bartender here. Chase was attentive, knowledgeable, and knows how to hold a great conversation. You can get great food anywhere but it’s people like this that make you want to come back. Highly recommended.

For certain. Probably booked solid by now. Should be like $40 per head.
The staff wears masks and I have seen them wipe down tables after each guest. They also have a ton of outdoor seating.
I do not think so.
I don't remember a playground. Unless ot was the opposite side of the building from the hotel rooms and outdoor bar. I do remember them having a coloring book menu for kids, though.
I'm not aware of boat ride tours out of Pirate's Cove. You might want to call them and check.
1960's, I worked there in the 1980's, the people who own Killarney House own it now.
Yes make sure you make reservations!
