Nice store with a good selection of plants and fish. I like the professional grade of equipment which can be very hard to find in the area. Employees are helpful. The owner can be abrasive and there are sick fish in sales tanks with healthy fish.

Definitely worth visiting if you've not been to a fancy aquarium store, the display tanks are amazing! This is my go-to shop for plants and aquascaping supplies in the Seattle area. They carry a wider variety of plants than other stores in the area, including tissue cultures. They specialize in small, freshwater tropical fish and carry a wider variety of nano species than other stores in the area, including females of species like endlers and betta. I haven't yet bought fish here. If you look in any tank there's often at least one fish that's a little unhealthy or is having swim bladder trouble. I don't know if this means the fish are less healthy, or if other stores are just better able to scoop out anyone looking sickly because they carry a smaller stock ---- Update 2022-02-24 ---- Tanks and fish are looking amazing! I may have just caught them at a bad time last month. One note on pricing, dry goods are often not marked with prices and show up on receipts as "custom entry", sometimes at over twice the cost at chain stores, so make sure to confirm pricing as you're checking out

Beautiful tanks, helpful and friendly staff. All the fish & inverts I've bought here have consistently been healthy and disease-free. Excellent selection ranging from standard tropical fish to some more rare ones I hadn't seen before. Small word of warning: the shop is small and they get very busy on weekends. If you're wanting to browse without a crowd or in a hurry then it's a good idea to stop by on a weekday.

I LOVE this place — I’ve been visiting aquarium stores my whole life, and I’ve only ever seen one place like this

The store has implemented a occupancy limit, and as tanks usually would require so, everything is kept very clean. There is plenty of room to be safely distanced :)
Yes, they do. Male and female.
No, sorry we don’t. Our store is too warm for them. We specialize in plants and fish for the freshwater tropical aquarium.
no its mostly small community fish the biggest fish are discus. But the store focuses on planted tanks and fish that go with them.
Piranhas are illegal in the state of Washington.
Depending on your native language, there might be someone at the store that could talk to you in that language. Using Google translate will also be helpful, as well as reaching out to an aquarium group to help find a local who speaks English and your language. Good luck, and I hope I was able to help!
All air stones eventually clog with biofilm accumulation. You should try scrubbing the air stone with a stiff brush (do NOT use soap) to remove the biofilm and see if this helps you, as it always does for me.
