I'd like to separate my review into two parts. If you only care about doctors and medical service, just read part 1 and call it 5 stars. 1. Every doctor was understanding, great bedside manner, consoling and supportive. They knew what they were doing and helped us to understand. 2. The consistency in staff outside of doctors is very off. Came into ER with our child and had multiple people ask us if we needed food/drink/comfort and never returned with what was promised. Not once, several times. Room we waited in for 5 hours had 2 office chairs my wife was supposed to breastfeed in. No pillows available, just a thin blanket. Told us we would both be able to stay overnight with our child, at 7:30 pm. After leaving us alone until 12:30 am other than checking in and not delivering services, they told us only one of us could stay. Hotel unbookable at that hour. Once my wife was in the room, asked for pain medication for child 3 times before it was delivered. There was no discussion, they agree it was needed and just didn't bring it. These places make money hand over fist, or else I'm paying someone else a fortune. Invest a bit less in colorful, whimsical fox paintings on the walls and a bit more consistency in staffing and protocols please.

I can’t say enough about our experience at the children’s ER. Upon arrival my son and I were greeted by a nurse immediately while my husband checked in. Even though any ER visit is usually a long one, staff was so attentive and wasted no time helping our little guy. The surgeons and staff in the surgery recovery unit were equally amazing. Everyone was above and beyond compassionate, thorough and informative with us every step of the way for what was already a traumatic experience. If we ever have to take our son to the ER again, this will be the only place we go.

This is a great place. The doctors that I have encountered with are amazing. The stay was nice as well meeting the other doctors. The only thing I don't like is a shared room situation. I think it's odd but it's what has to happen. Clinic is great too.

There are many options for places to stay around the hospital. https://www.seattlechildrens.org/visitors/neighborhood/places-to-stay/ You may also contact Guest Services if you need assistance in finding a place to stay. https://www.seattlechildrens.org/clinics/guest-services/ The closest hotel is Silvercloud next to the University of Washington. https://www.silvercloud.com/university/ There is a place near the hospital that isn't quite a hotel but does have rooms. https://www.talariscc.com/

That is actually a great question? I'm assuming the correct answer would be given by the professional at Seattle Children's. Sorry I cannot help you with this question.
There is a McDonald's restaurant nearby, but not within walking distance.
It would depend on the care needed. Typically Seattle Children's hospital is capable of handling long-term care. A lot of the patient rooms are set up for family is to be able to stay also. There's also a Ronald McDonald house.
It depends! And if it is an emergency, no, but if it is something just to check if you have to make an appointment.
Ask the hospital they must have leads. $127 graduate Seattle motel in University district west of hospital.
