Really enjoyed our dinner here tonight. The service, food, and drinks were really good! For what you get, it’s definitely a good value. I really like how they have happy hour all week 4-6pm! While it was good, it wasn’t out of this world which is usually what I reserve 5 stars for. I would come back and recommend it to others, but it wouldn’t be at the top of my list.

As they don't take reservations and wanted to have brunch pre-Sounders, we arrived on a Saturday before 10am. We were quickly seated when they opened and within 30 minutes it filled with other Sounders fans. We had a house made mocktail, Sazerac and the Cards Don't Lie cocktail to drink. The presentation was impressive. Note: the card is yours to keep if you order "The Cards..." 🍹! The server and bartender were upbeat and friendly. We each enjoyed our order of biscuits & gravy, shrimp & grits and BLTs which had a nice garlic aioli. The grits were not abundant, but the sauce was flavorful. . Positive experience overall. Paid street parking in the Capital Hill area.

I’m Southern and was craving hush puppies so I thought I’d try this place. My friend and I arrived at 630 and got the last table, although people that came in and had to wait didn’t wait long (<20mins). There were about 10 tables/booths. It’s a cozy place that’s nicely decorated. The drinks were very interesting but very pricey at around $17. My friend and I both got the mac and cheese which was incredible, even without the bacon. It’s creamy with just a little bit of stringyness from the extra cheese and a little kick from the pimento. The hush puppies were pretty good but only came with 6. The service was pretty good, our waitress was really hustling around trying to take care of at least half the restaurant by themselves. I’d go back! My meal for 2 with 2 drinks each, an appetizer, and two entrees plus tip cost me $120.

A small cozy and a friendly place to hangout for a evening drink. They have really good cocktails "Flamingos are not real" and "Cards don't lie" are my favorite 😉
