Absolutely Amazing 🙏💗

Dowd Chapel is the Catholic Church located on the Boys Town campus in Omaha, Nebraska. This Catholic Chapel is identical in architecture to the Protestant Chapel just a few steps away. Both churches have beautiful stained glass windows. Dowd Chapel provides the statuary and altar configuration found in Catholic churches, while the Protestant church has a more austere and still amazingly beautiful interior look keeping with the traditions of many Protestant houses of worship.. Both churches are the same distance for the primary statues of the two brothers, one carrying the other, which is in the circle outside the Hall of History (the free museum). Also nearby is the Bible Garden, which provides a meditative walk between the two churches where one can see and read about the various plants that grow in the garden and that match the same plants mentioned in the Bible. These photos of Dowd Chapel show it beautifully decorated just before the Christmas Eve Mass. The choir loft and the massive organ can be seen before the rear doors of Dowd Chapel, similar in nature to the set up in the Protestant Chapel.

This church is a beautiful! Take time to see the tomb of Father Flanagan. As the founder of boys town, he is an inspiration

No midnight mass
I don't think any catholic churches ever get cancelled. The kids can walk that live on campus. Historically I've never seen a Catholic church cancel
