Jerry, the camp Host at Fan Creek, is the best guy one will ever meet! My wife and I became great friends with him and we had other campers help celebrate his Birthday with a Strawberry Pudding infused cake with fresh Oregon strawberry's and whipped cream. We will be back to celebrate his Birthday again next year and for the next 40 more! ( That's his wish )

Questions & Answers

Are camp fires allowed this weekend? Aug 17 to Aug 19? I'm not sure I'm reading the fire restriction map correctly.

Fire restrictions are dictated by BLM (since the campground is on BLM land) and in this area, fires are still allowed in fire rings only. Any stove with a shutoff valve is also acceptable, such as gas stoves.

Some one in our group drove a day before we arrived and got a spot there's also a campground about a mile before fan creek looked like they had spots I think it was called Douvre not sure

$10/night and limited to 13 nights. Lovely place. The road is closed just past the campground so not a great deal of traffic.
