Beautiful park with 1.25 miles paved loop around the lake. I love coming here to see the sunset, it offers amazing views. Plenty of parking at the entrance.

This place offers great views of sunset along with a nice brisk walk. There are a lot of geese near the lake and you can enjoy watching them for hours.

It's a nice 1.24 mile paved trail around the lake. Parking was easy to find.

A fishing license is required by law if you are 16 or older. You risk getting caught if you don't have one and it could have some consequences.
They stock it with trout. The blue gill are indigenous to the region. The yellow carp were brought here from China and thrive here.

I am not sure, but I never see anyone on the Lake even when tthere is beautiful weather... so a good question. And I walk almost every day.
I have seen people throughout the day catch fish here. Its not really a lake to go fishing at though. Its fairly small. I have seen trout and catfish being caught.
I've caught a number of good sized fish in this lake ; largemouth bass, carp catfish,trout even though the quality of the water can get really bad at certain spots due to algae. And it's getting worst.
