Shannon was very helpful in helping to provide a valuation for my parents home. She was very responsive, personable, and provided a knowledgable, comprehensive market analysis. I highly recommend her!

Shannon was amazing to work with! She helped us strategically make our offer and helped us through the entire process from offer to close. She was great about providing us with updates throughout and was a great communicator on what we needed to do. We are ecstatic with our new home and would highly recommend Shannon and the entire Re/MAX team in Pullman for any of your home buying needs.

It was a pure pleasure working with Shannon. When we had questions she responded right away and followed up quickly with our concerns. She was frank about options and information. She was extremely well informed. She was happy to explain any and all aspects of the buying, moving, selling, renting, process. She didn't pretend to know something she was unsure of but was willing to do the research to help us find answers. She helped us make decisions by thoroughly looking into aspects of the buying process and making sure information was accurate. She was happy to explain anything, even dumb stuff, with the same positive and helpful tone. She has a benevolent personality that puts people at ease and it was a joy to work with her. The three things I liked best is that 1. She knew her business and was on top of what was needed and when. 2. She really went to bat for us and responded quickly to all our questions and concerns and 3.She is trustworthy. I highly recommend her.

Shannon was great! As first-time buyers, we didn’t understand too much about the process. Shannon simplified things for us and gave us updates throughout the closing process. Not only was she professional and communicative, she helped out with keeping our kiddos entertained during walkthroughs and final closing. I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you, Shannon!

Pullman is such a great place to live! It has a small-town feel, surrounded by farms and rolling hills, but because it's a university town, there are also major athletic events, concerts, and more! I love introducing people to my community - please reach out to me if you'd like a tour of my favorite spots in town, or if you have questions.

I meet with sellers before listing their property to help them show off the best features of their home and stage it to be most appealing to buyers. It makes a huge difference for photos, virtual tours, and showings to have the property staged!

This is dependent on the market, the house, and the neighborhood! Some updates will pay for themselves and then some, while other updates aren't worth the time and money. If you have questions about your home, please give me a call!

How can I prepare my house to sell?

I work closely with sellers to determine which projects and updates will be the most cost and time effective prior to listing a home. For all sellers, I recommend some basic organizing, pre-packing, and a good deep clean of the property to help it look the property look it's very best!

#1 - give me a call! I love meeting with new buyers and walking them through the process. Typically, I meet with buyers over coffee to learn more about them and what their needs are. It also gives buyers the opportunity to ask all of their questions about financing, timelines, and more!

Should I consider selling my home during the holidays?

David Manzer | Oct 14, 2021
Shannon Focht, REALTOR with RE/MAX Home and Land | Oct 14, 2021

Absolutely! A few reasons to consider selling during the holidays: 1. Buyers looking over the holidays are typically serious and ready to buy. 2. You can restrict showings to times that work around your schedule, you don't need to have your home available 24/7. 3. Homes decorated for the holidays look cozy and beautiful - a major selling point! 4. Buyers don't stop wanting to own a home during the holidays, maybe they are even more excited to have a place to call their own! 5. Less listings during the holidays means less competition, and more eyes on your property! And a bonus reason: People considering relocating to be closer to family or friends might be in town visiting those family and friends!
