Quiet and peaceful. Nice little dock on the main road with handicapped accessable fishing. Great place!

It's always been and still is my absolute favorite place to fish. I love the beautiful scenery and all the wild life. I would like see it cleared out a little more so people could fish all around it like before got all grown in.

Update on 1/12/2021: Today I stopped by this area to explore the lake only to find out that besides the broken parking area, there was a flat area you may park though it didn’t look like a parking lot. And from there thru the boardwalk, there is a viewing deck. Yet downed trees were blocking the short path to it. Not a place for hiking. Scroll down to see the pictures I took. 01/09/2021 I saw this lake when I drove from Magnolia Rd to Brendan T. Byrne State Forest. So I decided to stop by and check it out on my way back. I found quite a big parking place right by the lake on Colemans Bridge Rd. From there I walked along the lake a little bit but the trail was full of puddles all along, not really easy to walk thru. So I just walked a couple hundred yards and turned back. By the corner of the Lake on Magnolia Rd, there’s a sign of Pemberton Lake Wildlife Management Area with a small parking lot that’s almost unusable! But I saw there’s a boardwalk. Need to go back to check it out some time later. Nevertheless, the lake is beautiful with abundant wildlife. Lots of wild geese sunbathing on the lake.
