Perfect place for crash campers who haven't had time to make a reservation more formal places. I arrived late on a Saturday night and there was no one else. There are 2 large campsites. No facilities or services, but I don't ask any from a place that has no fee and is open 24 hours.

Yes. If you go to dcnr.state.pa.us and click the maps link on the right, you can download the huge map for all of the Bald Eagle State Forest that shows multi-use trails and "driveable trails," including where there are locked gates. Those trails will bounce you around in a Jeep, but nothing difficult. Fun in the spring mud. Some spots are pretty narrow too, making it tight to get by someone. There are links to ATV, motorcycle, and snowmobile maps, but I didn't have any luck downloading those.
